How should wood pellets be stored?+

Wood pellets should be kept dry and off the ground, ideally in a dedicated pellet store, silo, or the original sealed packaging until use. Pellets that absorb moisture will swell, break apart, and lose calorific value, so damp basements or uncovered outdoor storage should be avoided.

How do I work out how much I need?+
